Just $5 to stand up for Mississippi small businesses
Small businesses are the backbone of America. As a businessman with 40 years in the industry, I know exactly what it takes to build something from the ground up, balance a budget, and succeed. But right now, the Washington establishment is making it harder than ever for local businesses to survive.
A Proud Patriot and Proven Leader for Mississippi

Carl Lester Boyanton is a devoted husband of 31 years, a proud father, an Enhanced Conceal Carry holder, and a lifelong conservative who has spent his life defending the principles that make America strong: faith, family, freedom, and hard work.
Born into poverty in Memphis and raised across Mississippi, Boyanton learned early that nothing replaces personal responsibility and grit. Baptized in the Southern Baptist faith as a young boy in Picayune, he grew up in the Pearl River County public schools and worked a string of blue‑collar jobs to help his family get by. Those experiences shaped his belief that opportunity — not government — is what lifts people up.
At 17, driven by patriotism and inspired by his brother’s service in the 101st Airborne Division, Boyanton attempted to enlist in the U.S. Army. Though injuries prevented him from serving, his commitment to the nation never wavered.
He built his career the American way — from the ground up. Starting as a warehouse laborer at Charlie’s Produce, he worked his way into leadership roles and helped grow the company from a small operation into a major enterprise. Later, he returned to the Gulf South to start his own business, Farmer Fresh Produce, which grew to employ around 100 workers. Boyanton remained hands‑on every step of the way, often found on the loading docks working alongside his team.
- Faith as the foundation of moral leadership
- Family as the heart of a strong community
- Freedom as a God‑given right worth defending
- Work ethic as the engine of prosperity
- Limited government that serves the people — not the other way around

True Leadership is Rooted in Service
Long before it became a political talking point, Carl and Heidi Boyanton were on the ground making America healthy again. In 2021, they founded Farmed Fresh for Mississippi, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit born out of a simple, powerful mission: to deliver fresh, nutritious food to veterans and families in need. From personally driving across the coast to deliver essentials to homebound seniors during the pandemic, to investing tens of thousands of their own dollars to fund statewide food giveaways, Carl and Heidi don't just talk about community—they live it. By partnering with initiatives like Project Food Box, they are actively using food as medicine to fight chronic illnesses like heart disease and cancer, proving that real health starts from the ground up.
